Halloween 2017
ONE guesss who picked out this year's theme? Begins with a 'G' and ends with an 'avin'. But he reeeeeaaaaaalllly wanted to be Bowser. Um, like there's no costume in the world for this so, yet again, mamma has to pull out all her creative bag of tricks. And she daid ya'll. Down to the triangular water cups used for the spikes on his hell. Boom!
These severed hot dog fingers were quite the hit!
Maddie's boyfr....er, friend Morlu joined us for a bit. She could barely contain herself.
I friggin LOVE Halloween. Do I hope one day my children are smart and successful? Yeah, yeah, sure but pleeeeease let them love Halloween!!

Hunsader Farms
So I'm currently into all things farm....I mean, I don't think I'd love an ACTUAL farm, with the work and animals but the decor, vibe...yes! The kiddos and I found us one, with a great fall festival (I say "fall" as you can see the sweat dripping off of us if you look closely).

Her hips don't lie!!
We're always trying to find fun things for the kids to do that won't break the bank.
Maddie came home and announced she wanted to do hula with some friends from school. Excuse me..wha?? Did she say hula?? Like shake your money maker kinda hula? Um, I dunno...
But then, I spoke to the teacher that instructs the class and she assured me it was a very traditional Polynesian style of dance. And it was 5 bucks. Okey, dokey!
The girl's got moves! It's really a beautiful dance and Maddie is having a blast.
This was her very first public performance, at the Miracle baseball game...

School's out for summer!!
Welp. It was a great year!
Maddie rocked straight A's all while dealing with multiple doctors' appointments and new injections.
We dealt with a bully a bit but she kept her love for school and kindness in tact while remembering the boy struggled with some learning/ emotional issues.
She's such a rock star! This girl's gonna do big things.
As soon as she can remember where her shoes are.
They had a full on graduation ceremony, which I figured I'd survive since he'll be back to do it all again next year... cue the waterworks. I couldn't help but flash forward to him as an 18 year old, ready to leave home... blech, anyhoo....ðŸ˜
Looking forward to another fun year at Little Waves!
