Christmas Eve/Christmas Day!

We had such a great Christmas....we kept gifts to a minimum and didn't go too crazy in terms of over scheduling ourselves and running our faces off. I'm trying so hard to, while getting to enjoy the many festivities, keep from feeling so busy we lose sight of what Christmas really means.  Since being a mom of two I find myself so frequently overwhelmed all while feeling inadequate. You can't really be good at any one thing when you're consumed with a zillion. Probably shoulda learned that a few years back....
But, I'm, we're learning and it's truly making a difference.  What a great couple of days! We did the usual Christmas Eve at Oma's and Christmas morning at our place then back to Moe's for dinner.

Oma got the kids new scooters. Those and the tablets from Mo....biggest hits!

We wrapped a few more gifts while watching Christmas Vacation and then....

It's heeere! Christmas morning! The big guy was kind....

A little honey baked ham dinner to end the night....

But not without an epic kitchen dance party.....

Christmas time fun!

The first things we see right after Thanksgiving? The tree and Elfie!

And, the Bass Pro Shops Santa, of course. We try to go early in the month since it gets CRAZY  closer to Christmas.....like Disney line, toddler meltdown crazy. Trying to keep from losing it this year. I've noticed the holidays seem more stressful the more we cram in, especially last minute. No thanks. I'm close enough to the edge on an average day.

The MOMtourage had a fun kids' Christmas craft date, complete with a visit from the jolly old fella himself! It was really fun!

And, well, COOKIES! "Santa" prefers white chocolate macadamia nuts but these'll do....

Caleb's Crusade's annual pancake breakfast! This is my favorite Santa...in my opinion, he's the real deal. I'm usually a little extra sweet to this one....
